Administration
Johnathan Harris, Principal
I am excited to be here at EJMS as the new principal for the 23-24 school year. Throughout the past fifteen years of my career I have been a teacher, coach, and administrator. I spent the first ten years of my career teaching high school at Franklin County and East Jackson. This was followed by five years in administration where I was an Assistant Principal at Franklin County Middle and Madison County High, and then served as interim Principal at MCHS for the 22-23 School Year.
Our school theme this year is “One East,” and it encompasses the belief that we are all significant in the success of educating our students. EJMS is not just a place of learning; it is a community where every member plays a crucial role. I believe that a strong partnership between the school and our community is essential to support and uplift our students. Your involvement and support are invaluable in creating an environment where each student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
I am excited to meet each and every one of you and to embark on this wonderful journey of learning and growth. Together, we will pave the way for a successful year at EJMS.
